The sculptural works are taken outside the white cube to various locations across the Blue Mountains and Sydney. Here, they become wilful actors taking part in the living world. Materiality and photography are coupled as Blair-Hickman records the dalliance of art and life.
Gaerloch Movie
This video was taken as part of my Bachelor of Fine Art. Sculptural works made from acoustic foam were filmed at Gaerloch Reserve, Tamarama in Sydney. Working in the expanded field of painting, this video is a study in exploring the potential for my body of work.
